Your hours, exactly as you keep them — including the Saturdays.
Tell WA.cr the one week your workspace runs on: a lunch break, a kitchen open till 2am, Diwali, a half day on 26 January, and “2nd and 4th Saturday closed” said once. An Auto Flow can then branch on whether you are open at the very moment a customer writes — so an out-of-hours reply finally keeps its promise.
One schedule, written the way you would say it.
A week with real shifts
Seven rows, one per day. A lunch break is two windows on one day — 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 leaves the hour between them closed — and Copy Monday to Friday, or to every day, fills the rest of the week from the row you have already done.
Late nights stay on the day they opened
A kitchen serving till 2am types Friday 22:00 to 26:00 — one window, on the day it opens. At half past midnight on Saturday you are still inside Friday’s window, and WA.cr knows it.
“2nd and 4th Saturday closed” — said once
A repeating rule picks a weekday and a rhythm: chosen weeks of the calendar month, which resets the way the convention does, or every other week from a date you pick, which never resets. Under each rule the page lists the next eight dates it lands on, worked out by the same code that decides whether you are open — so “odd Saturday” is settled before you save.
Holidays and half days
A particular date replaces that day’s usual hours outright: a public holiday is one entry marked closed all day, a half day is one entry carrying the hours that remain. Each takes a label — “Diwali”, “stock take” — and a date beats a repeating rule, which beats the week.
Your automations read it live
A Condition step in an Auto Flow gains a workspace-hours rule — you are open, or you are closed — read against the clock at the moment the flow fires. The flow simulator carries a matching toggle, so you can try both branches without waiting for evening.
A schedule nobody wrote never shuts a door
Until you fill the page in, WA.cr has no opinion and everything stays available — a blank panel can never start turning customers away. “Closed always” is a real answer you can give, and clearing the schedule takes you back to no opinion whenever you like.
Good to know
- Included on every plan — there is no switch to flip and nothing to buy. Settings → Opening hours is there from day one.
- Anyone who can look at settings can read the hours; changing them needs permission to manage settings.
- Every change is written to your activity log with the whole schedule, so “what were our hours that day” is answerable.
- Times are wall-clock times in the schedule’s own zone, so “we open at 10” keeps meaning 10.
- Bookings and quiet hours are their own settings: appointment availability and your sending hours are unchanged by this schedule.
Write your hours once.
Set the week, add the holidays, say the Saturday rule — then build the out-of-hours reply that finally keeps its promise.
