RecoveryFlow wins back the carts and forms your site loses.
KDC WAcr RecoveryFlow is a WordPress plugin that notices when a customer journey stalls — an abandoned WooCommerce basket, a half-finished Gravity Forms entry, a ticket order that was never paid — works out whether that person may lawfully be contacted, and then recovers the journey: by email sent from WordPress itself, or over WhatsApp through WA.cr.
RecoveryFlow detects → WA.cr communicates → the customer converts.
Half of RecoveryFlow needs nothing from us at all.
RecoveryFlow is one half of a pair. It owns detection, identity, consent, timing, the recovery link and attribution. WA.cr owns the WhatsApp conversation. The plugin never talks to WhatsApp directly, and it cannot send a WhatsApp message on its own.
No WA.cr account needed
Install the plugin on its own and all of this works — no WA.cr sign-up, no API key, no plan:
- Detecting abandoned baskets, drafts and unpaid entries, on your own server.
- Recording identity, the consent record and the opt-out list.
- Recovery links that rebuild the basket and land on checkout.
- Recovery emails — handed to WordPress’s own
wp_mail(), so they leave by whatever route your site already uses for its other mail. - The admin screens: overview, journey list and timeline, integrations, settings and system status.
No part of an email recovery reaches WA.cr — not the address, not the subject, not the message.
WhatsApp recovery needs an active WA.cr account, on the Growth plan or above
WA.cr is a WhatsApp Business messaging platform with its own sign-up, terms and pricing. To get a WhatsApp recovery out of the plugin you need all of:
- An active WA.cr account and workspace, in good standing.
- A connected WhatsApp Business sender in that workspace.
- Either an Auto Flow with a “webhook received” trigger, which starts on Growth, or a WA.cr API key and a WhatsApp template approved by Meta, which starts on Scale.
Growth and Scale differ only in which of the two paths you get: Growth hands each journey to an Auto Flow; Scale adds multi-touch workflows authored inside WordPress, with direct template sends through the developer API. On free, trial and Starter neither path can run, so no WhatsApp reminder can leave your site whatever the plugin is set to.
Install RecoveryFlow without a WA.cr account and the WhatsApp half is simply inert: journeys are still detected, recorded and held as eligible, and every WhatsApp step stalls there unsent. The email channel is unaffected. There is no SMS. Creating a WA.cr account, whatever it costs on your chosen plan, and the WhatsApp conversation charges Meta bills through it, are matters between you and WA.cr.
A recovery engine, not a reminder blaster.
It watches the systems you already run
Integrations record one open journey per customer, server-side: an abandoned WooCommerce basket, a Gravity Forms draft, an entry whose payment never went through. There is no tracking script and no third-party pixel.
It checks consent before anyone is messaged
A journey is only actionable when the person is both identified and eligible — a usable number or address, consent on the record, no opt-out, and no message in the last 24 hours. Identity and eligibility are shown as separate badges throughout.
Its recovery links rebuild the basket
Every message carries its own link. It merges the saved items into whatever the customer has now, never wipes anything, and lands them on checkout.
It stops the moment they convert
The instant an order is placed, messaging stops. The journey is marked recovered when the order is paid, and the revenue is attributed to the touch that brought them back. Anything unanswered expires quietly after seven days.
An opt-out is honoured from both sides: a STOP reply, the opt-out link, or an opt-out recorded in WA.cr ends every open journey for that number, and the suppression survives a privacy erasure. All processing runs in the background — through Action Scheduler where it is available and WP-Cron otherwise — in small, locked, resumable batches, so nothing slows the storefront.
Works with the plugins you already run.

Your own system
Available nowRegister a custom integration with one PHP class through the recoveryflow_register_sources filter. RecoveryFlow is not a WooCommerce plugin — it installs, activates and runs without it.
Requires WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.0 or later. Licensed GPL-2.0-or-later.
Six steps, and it stops itself.
- 1
A supported integration records activity as a Recovery Event: what was in the basket, what it is worth, and when it was last touched.
- 2
When the customer gives a phone number or an email address, RecoveryFlow resolves who they are and checks eligibility.
- 3
After the inactivity threshold — 30 minutes by default — a Recovery Journey starts under a workflow.
- 4
The workflow either hands the journey to a WA.cr Auto Flow, sends an approved WhatsApp template through WA.cr, or sends a recovery email from WordPress itself.
- 5
The customer taps the link. RecoveryFlow rebuilds their basket and sends them to checkout.
- 6
When the order is placed, messaging stops. When it is paid, the journey is recovered and attributed.
RecoveryFlow and WA.cr are both ours.
WA.cr is a WhatsApp Business messaging platform built and operated by KDC Tek Private Limited (“KDC”) — a creative-and-technology company registered in Mumbai, India, building for the web since 2002. WA.cr is our own product on our own domain, and “WA.cr” is a registered trade name of ours in India.
KDC WAcr RecoveryFlow is published by that same company. It is the WordPress half of the pair: RecoveryFlow detects and decides, WA.cr carries the conversation. One organisation stands behind both, which is why the plugin names WA.cr in its own description and header.
Trademark notice. WA.cr and RecoveryFlow are products of KDC. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. WA.cr and RecoveryFlow are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. WA.cr is an independent platform built on Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform as a registered Tech Provider.
