The follow-up that remembers itself.
Leave a reminder on any conversation and it comes back into that thread when it’s due. Write a WhatsApp message now and it goes out at the time you choose — with its cost held from the wallet the moment you schedule it. Your team sees both; the customer only ever sees the message.
Two ways to be on time, both inside the thread.
A reminder on any conversation
From the internal-comment box on any thread — WhatsApp, Instagram or email — pick a date and time, give it a short label and write the note your future self needs, with a photo or file if it helps. It sits in the thread straight away, marked as a reminder, so the whole team can see a follow-up is booked.
Due, and back where it belongs
When the time comes, an urgent internal comment lands in that same conversation, linked to the note you left — so whoever opens the thread sees exactly what was promised and when. Nothing about it ever reaches the customer.
Write it now, send it later
Arm the clock in a WhatsApp conversation’s composer and the next thing you send waits for the time you picked — text, a photo or document, an approved template, reply buttons or a list, a location, a contact card or a product. Templates can be scheduled from their own send form too.
The cost, held up front
When a scheduled message will be charged, its fee and GST are set aside from your wallet the moment you schedule it, and the waiting message says how much. A balance that can’t cover it is caught now, not at send time — and cancel it, or should the send fail, the hold comes straight back.
Inside the 24-hour window
WhatsApp lets a business reply freely only within 24 hours of the customer’s last message. WA.cr won’t let a free-form message be scheduled past that — it has to go at least fifteen minutes before the window shuts — and points you to an approved template instead, which can go at any time.
Visible, movable, cancellable
Everything waiting sits in its thread: a dashed “Will be sent on…” message, or a reminder with its time. Whoever set it can move the time or change the label; anyone allowed to manage schedules can cancel it. Every one is written to the audit trail — set, changed, sent or cancelled.
Good to know
- Pick any date and time at least fifteen minutes ahead, in your own time zone.
- Reminders work on every channel in the inbox; scheduled messages go out on WhatsApp.
- Owners, managers and agents can schedule by default; viewers can’t.
- Reminders can be set and listed through the WA.cr API too, so your own tools can book a follow-up.
- Sending a campaign later, or reminding customers of a booking? Broadcasts and Appointments carry their own schedules.
Never let a follow-up slip again.
Open any conversation, leave yourself a reminder, and schedule the reply that should go out at the right moment.
